More Printed Books Now Available!

Just a quick note to let you know that the response to the printed version of Laying Down the Rails has been very good, so we have begun the process of making other Simply Charlotte Mason titles available in printed form also.

Here are the ones we have done so far. Now you can order these titles as printed books or e-books:

We will keep working on the other titles and let you know as soon as they are ready in printed versions also.

    • A few people have asked about a Canadian version, Shannon; however, I have a big handicap in that I don’t know Canadian spelling enough to make the necessary changes in the Spelling Wisdom books. Now, if some Canadian moms want to go through all five books and feed the changes to me, I’d be happy to compile them and create the Canadian Version 🙂 That’s how we did the British Version; I had some wonderful ladies “across the pond” who very patiently answered my questions and gave me the spelling differences. I’ll tell you up front that it can be a tedious and time-consuming process, but if any Canadian moms (who consider themselves good spellers!) want to jump into a Canadian Version project, feel free to let me know.

  1. On the British version, since most of us who will be using those are outside the US, I doubt there will be much demand because the shipping costs will be prohibitive. I have bought some of your e-books (106 Days, Spelling Wisdom, Laying the Rails) and am very pleased that I got away shipping-free! 🙂 Keep up the great work!

  2. I think the shipping costs would outweigh the convenience! My opinion… better to leave international books as pdf. Esther

  3. hi sonya – i have bought the spelling wisdom ebooks, all 5 of them but i have printed just 1 book so far, i print each page and place it inside a sheet protector and a nice binder, after all is done, it would still probably be worth it to just go ahead and buy the printed books. especially if you plan to passed it on to the younger siblings. i am homeschooling only 1 at this point and he does enjoy your spelling wisdom, in fact he is not just copying them but have memorized it as well. i do a weekly schedule on excel for him as a guidelines and it is amazing how his eyes can spot my clerical errors and yes i have to correct the misspelled words and print another one. i have been looking at your laying down the rails book and would probably get that this summer. thank you for all your hard work.
