We literally just finished our first lesson of ULW a few minutes ago 🙂 I’m starting halfway through level 1 with my 4th grader. Up until now we used a very traditional workbook style curriculum that we like, but I felt she couldn’t apply what she was learning. It will take some adjustment in my thinking to feel like it’s “enough” to go from 20-30 minute lessons to 5-10 minutes. I really feel like the critical thinking and application of ULW far outweighs the busy work we were doing. This is very encouraging to hear this morning!
