I can’t imagine there being anything objectionable but I’m wondering how overtly Christian the series is? I’ve shyed away from most curriculum because of my beliefs but I’m hoping to make my life a bit easier next year.

    thanks!

I would not consider the Visits to . . . series to be “overtly Christian,” Alyssee123. It is mostly map drill and taking a peek at families who live around the world, featured in Material World and Hungry Planet (neither of which is a Christian book). Additional living books are recommended that are representative of various regions, which you can use at your discretion. They’re optional.

Hopefully, the series will make your life a bit easier. 🙂

We’re using Visits to Africa right now and it doesn’t seem to have any religious leanings. Map drill is very straight forward.
