    I am in East TN!

    As for private messages, I am a part of 2 boards that have utilized those and they do come in very handy!! 🙂

    Doug, should I delete my message? I don’t want a lot of spam in my emai! Can you take if off, and yes it would be nice if there were a way to contact others safely.

    We are from two places. We have a farm in SW Minnesota in “Laura Ingall’s land” and we also live on an army post in Huntsville, AL.

    I live north of Sonya, in N. Ga. At the entrance to the mountains about 1 hr. south of the TN line. My family (both sides) has been here since the early 1800’s. Interesting story; on my moms’s dad side, named Kelley, came to Savannah in 1832 as an indentured servant to an English family.

    I think I am the only one so far from beautiful British Columbia! Hmmm…if Elpooh would post in here then I wouldn’t be the only one!

    It’s so nice that even though we are all so far, we are so “close” and able to communicate with one another! Blessings!

    @cherylramirez, No problem posting your partial address with the hint. The automated spammers won’t be able to figure that out.

    @CindyS, I’ll pass your e-mail address along to Shanna and Christi for you.

    I’m not quite ready to build our own map right now, but I set one up on a free service called Frapper. You can all feel free to add yourself to the SCM map I started, if you would like. (It asks for your e-mail address but does not display it.)

    Okay everyone, I think I have private messaging working. There’s a link near the top of the left sidebar where you can send a message or see any messages you have waiting. Each post and user profile also has a link to send that person a private message.

    It might still be a little rough in spots so please let me know if you have any problems with it.
