    As Karen said, we’re in North Central Illinois; a bit North of Rockford.

    @CindyS, I have to admit the first thing I thought when I saw this was “great idea for a topic.” But the second thing was “hey I could map that.” 🙂

    @LindaOz, Karen’s brother and family live in Blacktown NSW.

    @csmamma, Sorry we’re not still in Michigan to know you too. Karen is from Grand Rapids and I’m from Schoolcraft.

    DING! DING! DING! We have a match here (well, sort of). Shanna, Christie and I live within and hour or so of each other. We’re near Gettysburg, PA (which is a wonderful CM fieldtrip destination AND, we were told soon after living here by locals, is “Gett-es-burg” not “Gett-ees-burg”).

    We are southeast of GR Michigan. Hi csmamma. It always amazes me how widespread we all are and yet how close we seem in many of our values,homeschooling ideas etc.

    Hey Cheryl

    You’re not the only Texan on this board–albeit I am so far away…I live in El Paso. Will you be attending the state homeschool conference in The Woodlands next month? We’ve gone the past two years and plan on being there this year, too! It would be great to meet you! Boy, reading all the posts, I was really starting to feel left out!!

    I have no qualms on posting my e-mail, don’t know if it’s allowed, I’ll ask… SCM team, is posting my e-mail allowed?

    @epttigger, The problem with posting your e-mail address is that the automated spam address collectors will see it and you’ll be guaranteed to get more spam. If you can’t get connected from what’s already been posted, let us know by our contact form that it’s okay with both of you and I’ll pass your addresses on to each other privately.

    Some forums have a way to send private messages to the other visitors. Would that be a useful feature for us to add? Let us know what you think?
