I am pretty positive that I will be purchasing your SCM Early Modern History guide for this school year.  This will be our first time using the guides.  I was just curious to know what was your main resource used for writing the guides?  Another words, did you maybe use Christine Miller’s History Through the Ages as a source for your timelime of books?  I really need the structure of the bible study, history and geography all being covered together.  Thanks so much and I hope you do not mind me asking that question.

I’m sorry, or would it just be the Stories of America and Stories of the Nations that you based everything off of?

You’re right, the main spine is the Stories of America, Vol. 1, and Stories of the Nations, Vol. 1, books. Any additional reading either elaborates on a person or event mentioned in those books or brings in additional people or events not mentioned in those books.

Historical geography is covered through map work integrated into the history lessons. Modern geography of a related region is covered through Visits to North America.

The Bible lessons are more stand-alone in this guide, covering some of the epistles.
