I can’t find anywhere if I gave an ending date for our school year. How do I find this? Also, how do I schedule a new date for a new year? Will all my records remain for the old year indefinitely?

Sonya or someone will probably address the records part of your question, but yes, I do believe that as long as your subscription continues, your records are there and accessible.

I don’t know if there is a “school year END” programmed in, but I do know where to find when you have your new years BEGINNING! I’m assuming that your end would be either the day before your new year begins, or (if you want to say it’s earlier) then whenever you say. But to get to where your school year BEGINS, simply log into the Organizer, find the place in the top right that says “Account” and click that. Under your account settings, you’ll see a heading that says “Student Information”–click this, and you can add or subtract a student for the upcoming year, and change when your school year begins– I knew I’d be beginning in early August, but when I was sure what day, I went here to set it. We school mostly year round so we just assume this school year is now “finished” on Aug. 4 and the new one beginning. I have set up my fall’s work in the Organizer already, all set to begin on Aug. 4 or after.

LMK if this answers your question!

Yes, your records remain for as many years as you subscribe. And Michelle is correct that your school end-of-year date would be the day before your beginning date. If you run a report with the date of “This School Year” selected, you should see the exact dates at the top of that report. Hope this helps!

Thanks, I was worried that our school year would end before we were finished. I love this organizer, it works the way that I do. I love that you can be flexible and take a day or more off and pick up right where you left off.

I’m using the organizer on a trial basis, but I’m not sure of the exact date I began. I want to subscribe, but because we don’t begin school until Sept., I’d like to subscribe right before my trial ends so I don’t lose all my info. Any way to determine when I need to subscribe officially?

Also, is there any way to view the entire month of my Sept. schdule so I can determine if any one particular day is overloaded or do I just need to go back and look at each resource.

    Thanks,

    Michelle

You should be able to see how many days you have left on your trial by going into your Account (upper right corner of the Organizer screen) and clicking on Subscription. I believe you will also get an e-mail reminder as the time draws near.

The easiest way I’ve checked for overloaded days is to take a glance down the Scheduler page. Since each resource has its days of the week showing beside it, I can get a good feel for how much I have scheduled each day. I also use the Weekly Schedule chart to outline and post which subjects we’re doing each day so the children know too.
