Dad is still holding his own the Dr said. We know he has hypoxia damage to his legs but not the extent of it. It’s basically no oxygen to his legs but to treat it they run the risk of having his brain start to swell. He is still doing better than they thought. The Dr told me this morning that she didn’t think he would make it through last night but his brain pressure is still low. God is blessing us as all of our food and lodgings have been taken care of. Please continue to pray for us because I can tell you it is working. I can’t thank each of you enough for remembering us.

Thanks for the update tonight.  We will keep praying. Praying for healing in the leg. That there is no blood clots and his circulation is doing well. I will be praying for any swelling or bleeding on the brain that might stop his healing. I am praying for his circulation to continue to be steady.  Let the doctors forsee any possiable problems that may occur and wisdom to come up against it.  I pray for any unforseen problems and that the heavenly angels will encamp and go into battle for him.  In His blessed name!

Glad to read the update, we will continue to pray for you all.  Linda

Dad is still about the same. His ICP (intracranial pressure) has remained low, which is a positive sign. They have had him in a medically induced coma since the beginning and even increased it on Tuesday night because he was moving (positive brain sign). Early tomorrow morning they plan on doing a CAT scan, if it comes back ok, then they will slowly back off the meds and see if he has any response to stimuli. If he has a bad night then that will be cancelled. These are tiny itty bitty steps forward but we are still being told that he is extremely critical. We were able to touch his hand and talk quietly around him last night and today, a huge help to our family.

I just can’t begin to tell you the blessings that we have experienced. When Mom got the call there was a young computer tech with her and he took all the phone calls and information for her and he even came to collect me and my kids. Wonderful kid! The company my dad works for has taken care of our every need or want. They have paid for two suits with complete kitchens in them, food, and even rides. The executive over my dad’s driving area even collected my sister from the airport (3hr trip) and took my husband back to collect the items from home in SC (6hr trip). They stayed with us the whole first day and the vice president has called my Mom to make sure all her needs are met. They are now going to do a fund raiser for us and will continue to have them each quarter. The pastor at the hospital stayed with us well beyond his shift that first night and we just prayed and prayed with him. He kept going back to check on Dad and would give us status updates, he even got us back to see him before regular visiting hours. The local churches have contacted us, given us money and come be at the hospital with us.  People who have seen my dad’s truck (I haven’t seen it and don’t wish to) have come up to us in amazement that he is still here and then they pray for him. These are just a few of the blessings we have been given and as you can see your prayers are working, so keep praying please! I read all of your responses to my mom and they are a comfort for her, just knowing others are praying for him.

We will continue to pray and you stay strong…it is a lot of deal with, but it sounds like you are getting amazing support and I am so glad about that.  God bless you all.  Linda
