    Hello!

I used the Keep it Simple planning for our family however on the individual studies this only covered my 3rd grader. My question is what do I do for individual studies for my kindergartener, 5th grader, and 9th grader? This is our first year using the Charlotte Mason method so I am still learning just what it means to use this method. I have to admit it is a bit overwhelming. Especially since planning is NOT my strong suite.

Also can I use the Keep it Simple planning for my Kindergartener as well?

    Teresa,

First off…  Don’t get overwhelmed.  A Charlotte Mson education may seem like a lot to plan at first, but in the end it truly is such a better approach to education.  You are in the right spot here at Simply Charlotte Mason because a big chunk of your “subjects” will be taught together as a family.

It it sounds like you are on the right track with the “Keep it Simple” guides, but as far as Individual Studies…  Have you looked at the Curriculum Guide here?

It has been very helpful to me.  The “Plannng Your Charlotte Mason Education” is a wonderful resource.  My hubby and I are going through it together this summer, and it is great.

There is also a great online organizer to help you pull it all together and keep track of your progress throughout the school year.

And also check out the PreK and K guide to help me with your little one…

    Hope that helps!!
