I’ve been homeschooling for over 20 years now.  I have read about the CM way for many years and have dabbled in it a little.  I am now more than ready to teach in the CM style for all my kids in every area.  My biggest struggle right now, which is something I’ve struggled with for my entire teaching “career”, is how to get everything done with everybody.  I have done a lot of study on this and know that I can teach ALL my kids together for many of the subject areas, most even.  My trouble lies in how to accomplish all the individual studies with all the kids.  Does anyone have ideas about what has worked for them?  Also, what about my 10th grader?  SCM doesn’t have any high school level courses for the individual study areas.  Any suggestions on what to use?

Right now we have published Individual Studies lesson plans for grades 1–8; we’re working on completing the rest of the series. While we write the remaining grades, you can see our recommended resources for grades 9–12 on this page: https://simplycharlottemason.com/planning/curriculum-guide/individual-graded-subjects/

That page will give you the list of every resource we recommend for the individual subjects of math, science, and language arts for all 12 grades. If you need ideas for scheduling those resources, take a look at this article about planning a CM school year: https://simplycharlottemason.com/blog/planning-charlotte-mason-education/

You definitely have your hands full and it does take some time to figure out what works best for your family however Sonya has a sample schedule for a family that has grades 2, 4, 6, 8, 10….similar to your current situation.  You can see the sample here: https://simplycharlottemason.com/blog/how-to-finish-lessons-by-lunch/

Thank you so much!  Those resources are extremely helpful.  I’ve bookmarked them both.
