English lessons through literature is great. Level A would be appropriate for grade 1 or 2. It doesnโt contain phonics instruction, we use phonics pathways and the reading lesson (for different children).
The good and the beautiful is not as Charlotte Mason, itโs more of a combination of traditional and Charlotte mason. It has phonics built in, and has pre-K and up.
Language Lessons for today, they have grade 2 and up, but the grade 2 is more of a K-1 level in my opinion, you could do that level with both children, itโs very gentle and a good one to start with. It doesnโt contain phonics.
Having phonics separated for me is easier, as they can go at their own pace.
Having said that, My Fathers World includes all subjects and is Charlotte masonish. I havenโt tried it, but have thought about it. I think they still use language lessons for today.
