This is the place to post problems you are having after the CM Organizer upgrade. We do have a few known issues that we are working on. Please read through these to see if any apply to you before posting. Thanks.
Some people using Internet Explorer get a message “Stop running this script? A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive.”
A temporary workaround is to use a different browser. It happens in other browsers but not as frequently and you can often work past it. We recommend trying Firefox.
There have been a few reports of resources missing, a messed up schedule, or something just not looking right. Please report anything like that and we’ll fix it for you.
We know everything may be running a little slower than usual. We’ll be improving speed gradually over the next several days.
I get that stop Running Script notice and I am using Firefox.
It used to be that you could click on the arrow and an assignment would not show up on the print edition. After clicking it now still stays on the print. Is that something subject to change?
Scheduler issue: we used to be able to see scheduled items for just one student or one subject, now they all show all the time. Is that subject to change?
Misty, it looks like you figured out: click once for Worked On and twice for Finished. Glad you like it!
Sue in MN, thanks for letting us know about the printout issue and the Scheduler issue. It was our intention to keep both of those features you described, so we’ll work on restoring them.
I went ahead and downloaded Firefox and was able to get into the Daily Plan (beautiful!), but….aside from it’s slowness, the following message popped up:
Warning: Unresponsive Script (at top left corner of pop-up box)
A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.
Obviously the script error is not limited to Internet Explorer as we initially thought. It seems to happen less often in other browsers and you can often work past it. We’re working on it. Good reports everyone!
Doug – Now I am getting the Server Error message that everyone was talking about yesterday! I logged on and the daily plan came up fine, but showing only one student, and I clicked on all students, and I got the server error. Now I can’t get on at all – only get the server error.
Now everything works! Even the little problem from before – that I couldn’t see the assignment boxes on some resources. It’s all there!
Thanks!
This experience made me realize (probably a lot of others have, as well) how much I have come to depend on the organizer. I can do without, but I don’t want to! Thanks for working so hard on a great tool.
Thank you so much Sonya and Doug. It does look this is going to be really nice once it is all working great. I descheduled a lot of stuff that I really didn’t need and now I haven’t gotten the Running Script error any more. Hope that fixes it.
Also, restoring the two things I mentioned previously will be really great too. It used to be that you clicked on a name or subject and when you switched from Daily Plan to Scheduler that name or subject would appear and vice versa. That would be terrific if we could get it back.
I change my plans at the drop of a hat so being able to click off an assignment and save for the next day was really nice too.
