CM Organizer Upgrade Problems

    I’m having some trouble again. Even with Opera, I can get to my oldest two sons’ schedules and print them. However, no matter what I do, if I try to see work scheduled for my youngest son, I get the orange error message and then the servor error page. So I am all set for the oldest two! LOL Neither of my browsers is working.

    Is there a way to set a “default view” also? My default view used to be “all students” which a least I could SEE what everyone needed to do. Now my default seems to be my oldest son, which means if I can’t choose other students to see their pages, I can’t see the assignments for whomever the Organizer decides it doesn’t like. LOL

    Doug, I got the Firefox downloaded and then was able to expand everything update the information they did yesterday and then print the correct schedules for today! Yeppie

    However even on Firefox when I tried (after everything was printed) to go to SCM home page it froze everything and the only way I could get down was to hold the power button on the modem and close it out, (which is not the best way to log off per say).

    any advice? Cause that will not work on a daily basis??

    Sorry also the same error message came up before it all froze.. the one about refreshing my browser?

    Though I do have a computer that is 4 years old I have a hard time believing that all of a sudden with the new upgrade I need a new one to work with it? I never had really any problems before?

    I am really sorry & fustrated 👿 (for both you and me). I went in to Firefox again after restarting my computer and put in todays items. That worked fine. then I went back into the planner and it put an error on that also, I can’t get on now on either Firefox or just Aol. dialup? I pretty much can’t do anything now.. except keep telling you about it, again I’m sorry. 🙁

    Wanted to update you.. boy what an hour can do. I went in on my normal AOL (which I do like) and was able to update a few thinigs with NO problems. I also was able to add a resource with NO problems!

    Whatever you are doing is working! Keep up the good work! With time and patience it will all come out and things are so nice and fresh that I love the adjustments that were made.

    I was able to input info on the daily plan for 1 student and then on the 2nd student I got the “error occured while saving” message. I logged out to have lunch and when I came back I couldn’t even get into the daily plan. I got the “server error” message again. FYI-I am using Internet Explorer.

    I was so excited thinking that everything was up to speed but now I’m back where I started. I just wanted to update you. I know you guys are working on this and I do appreciate it!

    Oh, ladies, may I just add a note to say how many times over the past few days my heart has been lifted in gratitude to the Lord for your kindness and graciousness to us! Your patient help and encouraging words mean so much more than I can ever say. (Now I have to go blow my nose before I puddle up and get my keyboard all wet.)

    Sue in MN, we think the printing feature is back up and running. If you click the little gray arrow to “close” a resource, it should not show up on the printout now. Go ahead and try it and let us know.

    It used to be that you could click on the arrow and an assignment would not show up on the print edition. After clicking it now still stays on the print. Is that something subject to change?

    Okay everyone, the programmers have rolled out a whole bunch of fixes today!

    We know everything is still not perfect but it should be better. For example, we know Internet Explorer will still have more problems than other browsers for the time being. (Sorry, but Explorer is just plain slower and has more bugs than any of the others. It takes us a lot longer to work around those problems.)

    Please try the things that gave you trouble before and let us know where you still see problems.

    Thank you for working so hard on this. I have Internet Explorer; I checked it tonight and it was working.

    Yes, prompted by Rachel’s post, I tried on IE tonight and all seems to be working fine by me, too. Thanks!

    Maybe now that the storm has cleared, you can get a good nights rest SCM angels! 😉 .

    Hi Doug,

    I’m using the organizer in Firefox and have experienced no error problems or anything like that. I have one part which isn’t working though. The daily journal allows me to put notes into it, but when I click outside the box it isn’t saving my notes. I’m not having a problems with saving notes against assignments my children have been doing, just the daily journal – any advice? Incidentally, it worked on Monday when I used it, but did not work yesterday or today.

    On the scheduling tab, will we soon be able to select by Student or Subject what part of the schedule we want to see? That was how it used to be. Other than that, things seem to be working fairly well.

    I run this on a newer Mac. I am not computer savvy. I keep getting “scripts” error messages. I use firefox, the newest version. I cannot bring up all students without getting an “unresponsive script” message. What do I do? Help. I can bring up each individual student although I do get those same unresponsive messages fairly frequently. The all students will not even open. Thanks.
