Hello!  I am switching to SCM Modern Times for the remainder of the year. We have been studying American History with another curriculum the past year and a half, so I’m planning on just focusing on the American History/Geography portions of the guide. I plan to have the guide, as well as Stories of America V.2, and utilizing the library when I can for extra books. I have students in 3rd and 6th grade. Any thoughts on must have books? I see SCM sells “Only a Dog”, which looks like a great one, but is that more World History than American?  I want to get all I need before placing my order.  Thank y’all!  Merry Christmas!!

Hi Jennifer.  Any of the books that are specifically for American history are noted with [AH] before the title.  Only A Dog is utilized as a world history book.  🙂
