Spelling Wisdom has worked well for my children. I recommend it heartily! I have one natural speller and one for whom spelling is a struggle. The natural speller has loved the ideas presented in Spelling Wisdom and enjoys the copywork. There are enough advanced words that he occasionally finds one he’s not absolutely sure how to spell (not so when I was giving him spelling lists). It has really helped my struggling speller, much more so than the traditional “spelling list” style. He is not only learning to spell the words in the exercises and enjoying the ideas, he is also learning how to read more slowly and carefully so that he notices how words are spelled as he reads other material.
