Enjoy the artwork of Hans Holbein in a co-op setting!
With these twelve 10-minute group lessons designed for grades 1–12, your students will hear a brief biographical sketch of Hans Holbein and study eight of his paintings.
Lesson plans include ideas for introducing new concepts, presenting great ideas, inviting student narration and participation, and reviewing previous lessons in a group setting.
Home Extension ideas are included to help parents grow comfortable and confident with Charlotte Mason methods in their homes, as well as encourage the children to continue learning and growing outside of class time. The Home Extensions for this course include geography and map research, entering the artist into the Book of Centuries, and displaying the eight painting prints in turn.
The teacher will need one Picture Study Portfolios: Holbein to use in class along with these plans.
Each family will need one set of extra prints of the Picture Study Portfolios: Holbein for Home Extensions.
