Hi, I’m wanting to purchase one of these kits for my son. I cannot tell from the sample exactly how much printing will be involved. I noticed that the directions say to print the student’s kit, but that would be 175 pages? That’s an awfully expensive book to print from our home printer. I would like the ease of printing from the computer, but would like to know how much that really involves. Thanks; it will help me know which format to choose.

    Hi, Cindy –

Yes, the student kit is about 175 pages. It IS a lot to print from a home printer. It’s broken down into sections, so depending on how many sections you want to cover each week (Start Up, January, February, March, etc.), you might just print the section(s) you need every weekend. All told, it would be the same amount of paper and toner/ink, but it might spread things out a bit more for you.

Oh, you would also need to print just a page or two from the teacher book: the Chance cards (can’t do without those!) and the Additional In-Store Sales cards. Both are in the back of the teacher book so the student won’t stumble upon them unexpectedly and spoil the surprises in them.

Of course, for about $10 more you can get the printed version and save yourself the hassle (and the cost of the 3-ring binder to put it in). But it’s up to you. Hope this helps!
