I read a thread here about Yesterday’s Classics, how the complete set can be purchased for Kindle. I looked on Amazon to see how this is done, and what’s included, but I couldn’t find it. I don’t have a Kindle yet but we’re considering an e-reader.

Can anyone chat with me about YC? Smile

I think this is what you’re looking for ~ http://www.yesterdaysclassics.com/o/ebooks.php

I don’t own any YC books on my Kindle, but I’m sure someone will chime in. I do know from history that YC does have sales on this set every so often for $49, so if you can hold out for a while you might be able to save yourself some cash.

Thank you, Melissa! Yep, this is exactly what I’m looking for.

Yes, you don’t buy it from amazon, but directly from YC. You load them to the kindle with a usb cable, or email them to your kindle’s email address, or there are programs you can get to help move them. (send to kindle, or calibre)

I recommend getting calibre to help organize ebooks no matter what ereader you get…

When I was ready to purchase the entire collection they were no longer on sale so I emailed the company and they graciously heave me the $49 deal.

Hello, What can anybody tell me about Yesterday’s Classics? I ordered a book from them which they emailed and said was mailed July 3rd media mail. I haven’t received the book yet and have called 3 times but no one has returned my call. Media Mail takes 2 – 8 days and it is already been 13 days. I just wish someone would return my call.

Media mail can actually take weeks and often does. There’s been lots of discussion on here recently about that so the PO must really not be in a hurry. Lisa Ripperton, owner of YC, is a very conscientious business lady. She may be at a conference or something. I wouldn’t worry about for a couple more weeks.
