Can anyone recommend a book to substitute for Yellow and Pink for 106 Days of Creation Studies?  Our family will be starting this course this coming fall and I was looking for it and (GULP GULP GULP) found it on Amazon for prices ranging from $40 (at an “acceptable” rating) to $171!!!  Obviously cannot afford that.  I also cannot find it at our library as I went to put it on hold and it’s not available.  Nix on ebay, too.

Any suggestions for a suitable replacement would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks, Angie

I’ve been wondering the same thing.  Since I own a lending library, I can justify that purchase more than most and I know many other families would love to have access to that book.  But I have so many resources on my shelves that deal with this issue, mainly AIG materials, Jonathan Park CD’s and the like.  (My 19yo plans to be an astrophysicist so we’ve collected MANY creation/evolution books over the years.)  But this is a uniquely written book that I would really love to own.  And we’re starting 106 Days very soon…so…I may just have to take the plunge.

Angie, is inter-library loan an option?  Though we like the book I do think it is one that can be switched out.  Max Lucado has a book along the same line –  a simple story for young children.   it is the first in the Wemmicks series, I think.  Does anyone recall the title?

    Best,

I just found and ordered a copy for $25 on AbeBooks.  Check through ILL at your library or look on Addall for used books.  It lists books from many sellers and sites.  Be careful…several of them listed were the Chinese version.  My 6yo we just adopted from China can’t read so I skipped those.  Smile

I can get it from my local library, they have 4 copies in the district so I am sure you can use ILL to get it from another district..
