Hello! I have a ten yr old, 6 yr old and 4 yr old. The oldest has been doing AO for the past 3 yrs and has loved it, but I am planning on switching to SCM in the fall-I love the idea of having them all together and that it’s not quite so rigorous. Just glancing through the six modules, he seems to have covered a bit of each of them already. Plus, we started reading through the Bible three years ago and just started 1 Samuel, so Module 1 would be starting that over again. Being a perfectionist, I’d like to start module 1. Do you think that would be an ok thing, taking into consideration the second oldest will be starting more formal schooling this fall?

    Thank you,

    Jenn

One thing I find so appealing about SCM handbooks is having the family together. I say start where you want, what would have been the next time period in AO? We are starting module 4 next month, our first with SCM. My children will be almost 10, 6, 5,3,2,5 mos. I think it will be fun.
