Hi, I am brand new here.  My 13 yr old would be studying Ancient History in public school, the younger ones have’nt really studied much history.. Is it ok to start them all out on Module 1?  I believe that is the Ancient History one.

    thanks,

    Lynn

It really doesn’t matter where you start….  your choice.  You can either let the 13yo choose, go with Module 1, or whatever.   The 1st module (and the 2nd?) have a complete guide for them…..

My oldest is 11 1/2 and we started with Module 5, Early Modern Times, just because.  We had studied some ancient Egypt a while back so they were ready for something else:) To be honest, I did let my oldest choose…my middle boy would just do whatever, he’s only 8.

But, like suzukimom mentioned, the 1st-3rd (or 4th) have guides you can purchase that give lesson plans, etc.  The modules 5 and 6 do not, but from what I’ve read they are working on them (I can’t wait).

    Blessings to you.
