Where to start in Science

For this year my dd is supposed to be studying in science the following: Invertebrates, Plants, Forces of the Earth, The Universe, Space Travel & Material as we were using Abeka for our curriculum. That being said where exactly would I start her using the SCM curriculum instead? Thank you for your help!
Have you taken a look at the curriculum guide? Nature study will be a great thing, and at her age, you could really get into some interest-based science studies. At this age, giving her the freedom to explore will develop those study skills she needs for later on when she may need to buckle down to a more rigorous curriculum.
