I have a five year old who LOVES dress-up!  He is always wanting to be whoever we happen to be reading about in history at the time.  I was wondering if any of you have suggetions for finding historical costumes.  Thanks!!

Rainbow resources have some. I would look on e-bay too.

This is a good time of the year to check thrift stores too (right after Halloween). The ones around here put all their costumes on clearance for super cheap. There are usually a few fun historical ones in the mix.

I have bought 5 dresses from this eBay seller. They have been very well made, like real clothes. They are pricier, but still look great after years of use. http://m.ebay.com/seller?itemId=261630207400&sid=wehavecostumes

Actually, that seller is having a sale on some of their costumes that ends later today — there are some really nice ones for around $20 or $25 right now! Might make a great Christmas present!
