What have you used for Written Narration for upper elementary ages?

    For some reason I cannot seem to find the right resource for written narration for my 12 yo?   Any suggestions?

    What do you mean, resource?  You mean book to narrate?

    Yes, exactly.  The lit choices in SCM’s curriculum are supposed to be for family read alouds or just for your student to read on thier own for enjoyment.  My dd was not very excited about doing a written narration for science or history either.  I guess I need to just pick something.

    She just started written narration last year.  Is there a book that we could use that would have short stories like Fifty Famous Stories but for odler kids?
