We braved the heat!

    Ladies ~

    Thanks so much for the encouragements on nature walks in the heat of summer.  The last thing I want to do is explore outside when it’s 90 by 9 am!  We were outside this morning from 10am to about 11:30 finding all sorts of bugs and plants.  When we first went outside, the bunnies were close to our front porch.  Of course my daughters asked to pet them.  I said, if you can catch them, yes you can.  Where was my video camera!!  We even found a bright green tiny grasshopper.

    Yep.  I sat in my air-conditioned kitchen for a while looking out at the heat rising before I decided to roast! Laughing
