Way of the Will Question

  • Hello,

This is my first time posting on this forum. I’m an old (55) mom of seven, but am only homeschooling two girls yet (16.5 and 12.5)

I’m afraid that I have to confess to being too easy on these two.Result? Very weak wills. I also need to confess that they get this from me. (sigh)

I ordered Sonya’s calendar for this upcoming January and it arrived yesterday! I read the intro. on “Way of the Will” and realize (duh!) now what the diffference is between strong will and weak will That is to say that I realize the difference but need to do further study to *really* realize the difference.

Finally! My question: Is it too late for the girls and me? Would ordering “Laying Down the Rails” be the first step in helping us get on track?

    Anxiously awaiting any advice,

    Deb in sunny NE

No, Deb, it’s not too late! I do think purchasing Laying Down the Rails is a good idea because it helps us to focus on certain areas, not everything all at once. I think it’s easy for us to think that since we are older, and our children are older, we should be able to just ‘do it’ regarding new habits. The training is the same, whether it’s early in life or not.I think the only thing that would change might be that we can use bigger words with older ones Smile.

    Blessings,

    Cindy

Thanks so much for your response, Cindy! I appreciate the guidance and time.
