Verb Tenses

    I need a little help with teaching verb tenses to my children (ages 8 and 10). They are using PLL and ILL. These books cover some verb tenses, but I need some extra help.

    My children still say things like: “I drinked all of my drink.” or “The dog sitted on the swing with me.” It is cute when they are 2 but when a 10 yr. old says things like that in public……it’s a little different. LOL

    I guess I need a list of verbs to cover and some examples of ways to teach the correct usage.

    If you google the term “irregular verbs” you can usually find a list. As for teaching ideas, Joy@fivejs.com came up with this idea:
