Is anyone able to use the CM Organizer on their iPad? I signed up to use it a couple months ago, and while I like it for organizing assignments, I cannot get it to open my daily schedule on the iPad, whether in Firefox or Safari. It will show me the book finder, and that’s it. And that makes it rather hard to use throughout the day, as it requires me to be on my computer and not just the website.

If there is some way that I need to tweak this to make it work, please let me know!

    Thanks!

I use it on my ipad all the time. It works perfectly. Are you sure you are logged in on the ipad? If you aren’t logged in you get just the bookfinder.

I’ve signed in a dozen times. I’ll sign in and go into My Account to make sure I’m signed in. But every time I go into the CM organizer, all it does is give me an option to Sign Up–which I’ve already done. I can access all my other account stuff through the My Account page, everything shows me logged in. As soon as I go to the CM Organizer, all I get is the Bookfinder and a Sign Up option. I’ve tried both Safari and Firefox now and neither works.

You can absolutely use the CM Organizer on an iPad. Here’s how to sign in:

First, not to get too tech-y, but it’s important to note that because the CM Organizer is on a separate website server, so it needs you to sign in there too. Even if you are signed in on the main SCM website, you do have to sign in on the CM Organizer to access your account.

So, first make sure you are on the CM Organizer home page. On a phone or tablet, the sign in link is a little bit hidden right now. You need to tap the Account link in the upper right corner, then choose Log in. That will connect to the main SCM website to sign you in and you should be good to go.

Let me know if you have any trouble with that or if you have any other questions. The fastest way to get help is to contact us.

    Hi Jordan,

That makes sense, and I would LOVE to try that. However, while I see the “account” button, I can tap it a million times, reload the page, try again, and it doesn’t act like a link; there’s no way for me to sign in on the CM Organizer page… I’ve tried doing that on Firefox and Safari on my iPad now, and neither produces a dropdown menu or a link at all for “account.” 🙁 I feel like I must have some sort of setting clicked wrong on my iPad or something. Perhaps I’ll restart my iPad and play around with it a bit to see if it starts working. If it doesn’t, I’ll have to try directly contacting you or just continue using my laptop.

    Thanks!

So sorry that it’s not working correctly. Could you send us a contact message from your iPad about the problem so we can work with you directly to get this straightened out? If you use your iPad to send the contact message through the red Contact button on our site (or this link) that will also send us a few technical details about your iPad’s system that will help our team figure out what’s happening. Thanks!
