Is there a way to track “school” by using the CM Organizer on something other than a laptop?  I just don’t like having my laptop open all the time, we don’t like the internet  too much, like to be disconnected form the world. A kindle would be really nice, after hearing all the rave rewiews.  Or another small device, (I am not tech savy).  Thanks soo much for any imput. I quite appreciate it!

You can access the CM Organizer with the Kindle using the experimental browser.  (Note, the experimental browser is not enabled in all countries!)    The screen is a bit small (you can tell the Kindle to go to landscape mode to make the text a bit bigger…)  And you can mark off things done just fine.    If you don’t have a Wireless Network in your house, you would need the 3G Kindle to access the internet.

One minor annoyance – I can’t seem to have both the Kindle and the computer keep me logged into the organizer at the same time… so I have to log in again if I access it from somewhere else.

Another place I have used the organizer is from our Wii (which we have setup to connect to the internet…)

Thank you for clarifying the Kindle.  Are we able to print form the KIndle?  So we can print CM organizer reports.

No, you can not print from the Kindle.  (unless someone knows something I don’t!)

That is correct, the Kindle is not able to print. The Organizer works on the Kindle but it’s a bit cumbersome to use, though.

The Organizer also works well on the iPad and it can print if you have certain printers or software on your computer that it can sent printing through.

I know some CM Organizer users just print out the day’s assignments and check them off on paper. Then they catch them up at the end of the day instead of entering the details throughout the day. Maybe some of you who do this kind of thing can tell us all a bit about how that works out for you.

The last 3 weeks we’ve been printing the daily plan and putting it into the kids’ planners.   Once they are done something (whether with me or individually) they mark it off.  I mark things off in the organizer once they are all done.
