Has anyone read “Three Greek Children: A Story of Home in Old Time” by Rev Alfred J Church, while studying Ancient Greece?

We really enjoyed reading “Boy of the Pyramids” while studying Ancient Egypt.  My children (ds 8 & dd 6 soon to be 9 & 7) seemed to connect more with the characters and remembered the story better than some of the other books we read.

So I’m wondering if this Greek story would be similar.

    Blessings,

We have read it – it is good.  You can read it free online at http://www.heritage-history.com/www/heritage.php  .  Look at the left menu, choose “Greek” under civilizations, then scroll down to the Historical Fiction section to find the title.  You can also purchase their compact libraries from the history store (the link is lower down on the left menu).  We have the Greek and Roman collection and it is a real treasure!
