I would really appreciate some assistance. This is my 25th year of teaching my children and I want it to be fantastic. 🙂 My daughter will be a senior this fall, and is still lacking both US History/Govt. and modern world history. Her main talents are artistic and she is well-read and deep-thinking. This past year I faced a significant health crisis and I am still recovering, so I had little energy for participation with her in her schedule or daily studies. I want badly to be ‘right there with her’ this year and share in that happy spirit that makes her such a joy to teach, so my heart is burdened to find the perfect materials and complete schedule for her. Is there plenty of coverage and depth for a 12th grade student if I planned to purchase everything listed for her age group? I am looking for all subjects and *extras*. Many thanks for helping my tired brain to awaken and be encouraged!

I like A Living History of our World volume 8 for government and US history.

Involve your daughter in planning materials and schedule as much as possible.  Look through curriculum samples together. Pray together.  I pray that you and your daughter find the best curricula and schedule for her, and have a fabulous year.

Beautiful Feet has a new one year Modern U.S. And World history just announced.  It wouldn’t cover government, but the history looks great.
