Has anyone used Thinking Like a Christian for their high school student?  A friend let me borrow it for the weekend for review.  It looks like a lot of teacher prep and time.

We want to teach Biblical worldview, but need ideas.

    Thanks,

Starting Points book is one that several people I know have used.  Most of them have liked it very much, though some have skipped a couple of books because they were not acceptable for the student or family (Frankenstein was one that a few skipped, for instance.)  The co-op which we went to last year used this, and though my girls were not part of that class, I was able to sit in and listen to the class and the discussion. The questions in the book definitely seemed to get the students thinking.

I have it, but have’t used it yet.  A friend of mine that recommended said it was a little less intensive than the other that came out later by the same people (I can’t remember the title, but I don’t know if it was Starting Points though.  Same concepts though I think.)  I liked the idea of “less intensive” because my APD high schooler already has comprehension issues and I didn’t want to completely do him in. Wink  I’d rather him get *something* out of it then be so overwhelmed he got nothing out of it.

I have it, but have not used it yet.  It is on the list at AO, but it’s being reviewed by the advisory.  I think all they have you do is read and discuss it with your child.  MFW also uses it so you may be able to get some answers on their forum.
