There are 2 types of these for sale at amazon and I was wondering which is best. The one that is $3.99 is the pull-out one, and then there is a spiral bound one that is a little more expensive (by a few dollars). I was wondering if the spiral bound one would be worth the extra money.
Anyone have experience with both?? Or just the pull-out one, and do you find it will last through 3 Modules (I read somewhere that it is used for mod 1-3)??
Thanks.
my3boysParticipantAnyone have a preference??
andreamParticipantI’m getting ready to order these also and am curious about this question.
my3boysParticipantAnyone???
missceegeeParticipantI have and enjoy the spiral version. We used with ancients. I’ve not seen the other. Sorry.

sherazParticipantI have the spiral bound one, and I found that we didn’t use it very much in Mod. 1 – My Bible has a really nice map section in the back, and we used those instead.
I don’t know which is best, but wonder if the pull out can survive 3 years of repeated use, plus another rotation through later. The pull-outs are pretty small – 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 is supposed to be small enough to tuck into a Bible according to Amazon. It also has 17 maps on it and unfolds to 38″. I am guessing that it would be like a road map that you unfold and refold. At that point, I would prefer the spiral bound.
I guess that it would depend on the children using it. lol
my3boysParticipantThanks ladies, that helps alot!
Lesley LetsonParticipantI have the spiral one and like it as well – fits nicely on the shelf and has held up well. I like sheraz would wonder how well the other one would hold up – I know my people aren’t that good at folding things back up. We haven’t used it a ton, but mine are still young, so maybe later. I am also a hardback snob and will always spring for the sturdier version – so take my opinion with that disclaimer 😉
