I would love to know if anyone has organized lessons using common, classic table games. I’m thinking Triominoes and Scrabble…that type of game. My boys love to play games and are 15, 13, and 11. Any ideas?

Oh, we loved to have a “Game Day” once a week for a month or a term. Basically, I count any game as educational that requires the student to do math (each person keeps her own score) or spelling or problem solving. We didn’t do organized lessons; we just played the games. Smile

Oh! If you want a very educational game, that your boys would probably really get into, try Cashflow 101. It isn’t cheap, but it will get them thinking about financial decisions. It’s one of our favorite long games.
