Does/has anyone used either one of these series for assistance in teaching your kids about God’s design for sex? Or, any other sources and why? Thanks!

I haven’t used those ones.  We have From Girl to Woman and From Boy to Man from Queen’s.  That is a nice intro.

Next I read Ami Loper’s The Miracle of Life and The Miracle of Change with my oldest daughter.  Beautifully written.

I plan to also go through God’s Will For My Body (it’s kind of a workbook; we won’t do the questions but will use the text.  I have a bunch of things going on right now but can give more details later if you like.

The Wonderful Way Babies Are Made is the best book I have seen for said topic.

I’ve used the first two books from the God’s Design series with my dd10. We’ve always been very straightforward, using actual names for body parts and such. When dd was 8.5, I decided to talk with her about body changes as I’d been an early bloomer and was completely unprepared. This discussion made her ask lots of odd questions like why don’t women have babies when neighbors kiss their cheek, etc. I prayed hard and decided to read through the 2nd book completely, including the section on intercourse. We had a nice conversation afterwards where she asked some good questions that I was able to prayerfully address.

I don’t know if it’s the right timing for your family, but for our dd, it was. Giving her the answers to some of her questions made her less curious, she was satisfied. I’m confident that she’s prepared for the changes that are coming for her and that we can discuss them without shame or awkwardness.
