    Hi!

It is our 1st year homeschooling and I thought we could do Nature study as Science but my oldest does want to study electricity and something about cars.(I am sure we could do other things too, that’s all I’m getting right now)

Something to do just once a week.

    I have a 3rd and 5th grader.

Anyone has suggestions on books we could use?

    thanks

You might consider hands-on kits.  ElectroWiz Electricity kits are both reasonably priced and fun.  There are many additional hands-on electricity kits, try searching Amazon or Rainbow Resource.  Home Science Tools has many, plus it has an internal combustion engine kit and several fuel cell kits (they are pricier).  For a little more money, Snap Circuit kits are EXCELLENT for electricity–I think we probably  have over $200 worth of these in the home divided by 3 boys.  And they (ome Science Tools) also have an electric generator kit.  We have bought almost all of these except the fuel cells for our boys.
