I have The Story of the Greeks from nothing new press, but my chapters don’t line up. It is the 2nd edition. Did she change it later? Is there less mythology in a later one? Could someone outline the differences?

The lesson plans are based on the fourth edition. Here is how the publisher describes the changes and additions:

    • The beginning chapters, especially chapters I–V, were completely rewritten and much material and additional chapters added.
    • The central portion of the history remains unchanged for the most part.
    • Much material has been added once we arrive at the establishment of Alexander’s Empire.

I especially like how this fourth edition handles the mythology, calling them fairy tales and differentiating between their mythological gods and the one true God.
