The lesson plans are based on the fourth edition. Here is how the publisher describes the changes and additions:
• The beginning chapters, especially chapters I–V, were completely rewritten and much material and additional chapters added.
• The central portion of the history remains unchanged for the most part.
• Much material has been added once we arrive at the establishment of Alexander’s Empire.
I especially like how this fourth edition handles the mythology, calling them fairy tales and differentiating between their mythological gods and the one true God.
