state swap update (urgent information needed)

    Hello all,

    I am sending out the state swap address today. I am sorry I am a bit behind schedule but our boxes will be shipped on the 26th as promised! I need the following states to PM me with their address and how many boxes you want to send, I need this information today if at all possible. If you emailed me your information I may not have received it, I get a TON of email everyday.

    Alaska, South Carolina and Texas.

    If your state is not listed, it’s because I have all your information ready to be sent out Im just waiting on the above states. . If you are unable to send your box or boxes on the 26th please let me know today.

    Everyone who signed up will have the address this evening.

    ACK!  I didn’t think this was still going on, so I haven’t been gathering things.  Do we know how many states we are going to send to?  I think it depends on how many states are involved on whether or not I’ll be ready for the 26th.

    Oh wait – duh – I think we were doing one per kid in my family… three?  Ignore me, we’ll get it done.  🙂

    I thought each family decided now many boxes they wanted to send out, with a max of seven (as we had eight families join up). I thought most of us had said we’d do all of them, and thus would get boxes from most of the people participating (but likely not all). Anyway, maybe now is a good time to restate the plan all over again. 🙂

     Each family decided how many boxes they were comfortable sending out. There were several families who wanted to send out a box to each state even though they may only be receiving a few boxes themselves. I am sending out all the contact information tonight so everyone can send the boxes out on the 26th. I only need the last three states information so I can match them today with families. If you are participating your swap information will be in your PM or email this evening. If you don’t have it by 8pm message me so I can make sure you get it.

    Rebekah, the 27th will be fine, one day won’t make a big difference.

    I agree that I never received any more information about it other than the email address to send our information to so I have not been collecting things. I definitely won’t be able to get these out by this weekend.

    I’m sorry for the misunderstanding, no worries. The original instructions offered suggestions as what to include in the boxes such as: treats or candy from your region or state, a brief history about your state or area, pretty much what ever you want to add. I planned on giving those participating the mailing information you are swapping with this week. I’m sorry if my waiting implied the swap was off. I was going to send it tonight but I‘m still missing a few, so if I do not have your address and information please send it tonight or first thing in the morning. I will either send the addresses and names of the family or families to your PM or email so you can send your boxes, you will have them ASAP.  If it’s easier for everyone we can extend the date to October 3rd, that gives everyone an extra week. Let me know if that works best for everyone.
