    Hello,

I am curious how you or if you could use the new Language Guide with a group?  What would that look like if I did?  I have 4 younger children that need some instruction.  I am not sure about the Queens Language Lessons (although they can do some on their own which is nice), but they are so pricey and my funds are low!  Just curious if anyone uses this with a group?  The children I would use it for are 8,9,10 and 11.  They have almost no formal grammar or spelling.

    Thanks!

    Lora

Hi, Lora. I would think you could use Using Language Well with a group of children. The biggest challenge would probably be doing the dictation (which you might want to do individually), but if you start with Book 1, that won’t come into play until Lesson 72 or so.

I use Using Language Well with my 7 and 9 year old. They each have their notebooks and I read to them out of the teacher book. They continue to do it on their own. Then I check their work. When we get to lesson 71 I will have them study at the same time. And whoever knows the words first will get dictation first. Then the other child would just continue studying until we are done.
