I plan on using Spelling Wisdom when my boys get older (currently 6 & 7.)  I wish I had had this when my almost 20yo was up and coming.  But my younger boys love games and I would like to incorporate some games to get them used to paying attention to how words are spelled as they’re reading or learning to read (the 6yo was adopted from China in Jan. so he’s just learning letters and their sounds.)  Any ideas?

I don’t have any games, but I’ll share an activity my boys loved when they were little.  Writing words, even three-letter words, was such a chore.  But I bought a big plastic bin of colorful magnetized letters and a great big cookie sheet.  When we’d discuss spelling, we’d use the magnets.  I’d group some basic consonants, and some vowels, and maybe start them with a simple word like “pat” and then ask them to make “mat”  That kind of thing.  For some reason they loved it.  Or I’d put up part of a word and ask them to finish it (at first I’d make sure there was a small group of letters that would finish it so they could have “success” quickly)  If they had trouble, I’d spell it for them, and we’d practice “taking a picture” of it, then I’d remove a letter and ask them to “see” it with the letter removed, etc.  Worked for us, anyway.
