I just want to make sure I understand this correctly, for the part of history we chose we will need all these books for 2nd grade right?
Sorry Im so confused.
Thanks
Kass
Scherger5ParticipantI would skip the commentaries by Ganz if a second grader was my oldest.
Heather
DustyandkasseyMemberYes I have a 2nd grader and baby. So I need all these books for this module right? Why would you say to skip it , is it a bit much for a 2nd grader?
thanks
DustyandkasseyMemberI cant lie this is overwhelming having to find and buy so many books for each subject. Im transitiing from public school and have alot of adjusting . lol
Scherger5ParticipantYou can see samples of the commentaries online at Amazon or CBD and decide for yourself. My youngest is going to be a second grader and we just wrapped up Module 1. I thought the commentaries got a bit long and wordy. As far as the other books are concerned, with the exception of the two newest SCM titles, we used them all. The grade 1-3 specific books were huge hits 🙂
TailorMadeParticipantYes, if you want to follow the guide exactly.
Scherger5ParticipantAlso, take a deep breath and relax. If you skip a few books, no big deal. If you sub-in books that your library has, no big deal. Your student is young and you will hit this time period again 🙂
Blessings,
Heather
DustyandkasseyMemberThanks 🙂
