Would you keep this set just because it’s a good set of Bible stories? My 10 YO has no interest in it. I don’t know if any of my boys will be interested in it (7 YO has dyslexia and it may be a long time before he can read that well, or have enough interest in reading by himself to read something like that. 5 YO has never been particularly interested in books. There’s a 3 YO and a baby coming too.). It’s not something DH or I will ever read out loud to them. I keep pulling it out to get rid of it…and then putting it back because “I should keep this”. It just takes up a lot of space on the bookshelves.

We were lent a set about 5 years ago, (girls were 6, 4, 2, baby) and over the course of about a year and a half, I read the whole set aloud to them.  My girls really enjoyed it at that age.

I even actually ended up using one of the stories from it to teach a Sunday School lesson one time because I liked how it dealt with the story (Bathsheba and David).

So, I’d keep them……but if you need room, the Golden Children’s Bible takes up a lot less space and is well-recommended, also……so, I’d get rid of them…….*L*

If your church has a library, you could donate them.  Then you could check them out if you had need.  I have a set in my library but most families check  out others, especially Catherine Vos’s Bibl story book.
