Sewing project for boys

My son recently received a kit that he LOVED (and so did my DH who also got the kit as a gift). The project was a hackysack. Once the sewing project was finished, you have a hackysack to play with. I’ve also seen kids made knitted or crocheted hackysacks but we haven’t tried that yet.

I know it’s sometimes hard to get the boys interested in needlework, but this motivated my son!  Have fun.
