Scripture to memorize

    What are some of your favorite verses of scripture to memorize yourself, and have your children memorize? Something that can really help, inspire, comfort or guide you through difficult times in life, for the rest of your life?

    I’d like to do some scripture memorization with my children, but we are already doing a poetry memorization program and some Shakespeare memorization, so I don’t want to add a scripture memory box right now. I’m thinking of choosing maybe  5 or 10 very special verses to start with, copying them out, and posting them on the wall for us to see frequently during the day.

    But there are so many out there that I don’t know where to start, so I’m asking for recommendations!

    I tend to like to memorize chunks not just verses. It seems to stick better

    Thank you! I looked up all these and printed them up. All your suggestions look great! We started with Ephesians 4:32.
