OK so I went to the SCM bookstore earlier this evening to innocently look up a title to recommend to friend when something jumped out right in front of me…and I came face-to-face with the newest SCM resource: Shakespeare in Three Steps. I mean, seriously?? Would you guys stop publishing things that I want to buy?! It’s getting so that it isn’t safe for a girl to walk by with a credit card in hand…. Jeesh. Some people.
I know! I don’t need this resource. I have tons of Shakespeare stuff on my shelves but Shakespeare has been my last big holdout. I’m very excited about this and you should see my order come through by the end of the day. 🙂
I do NEED this! *L* I just checked the Lamb’s book out of the library and decided it would be nice to use next year…….and then thought about the pain of having to decide which play to study; how to round up both the story and the actual play; and then find an appropriate video version to watch.
So this resource just checked them all off! Well, not the video part. But we’re used to audio resources, so I’m thinking we’ll need to buy at least one for next year.
I just ordered them all. I appreciate that we have so many options of ordering based on our needs. I already had the Arkangel recording of Midsummer so I just got the printed book. Then when I checked out, I also had the download link to the digital version! This is great because I can download it in my iPad and we can look off of that and the book and I don’t have to print out so many pages! Audible’s Deal of the Day today only (2-14) is the Arkangel Midsummer for $1.95. Think I’ll get it anyway… My copy is checked out, come to think of it. Thanks SCM!!
