Is there a list anywhere of which resources are being updated and when the updated versions will be released? Is there a similar list of new resources that will be available in the coming years and approximate release date? Finally, is there any kind of schedule of the order in which resources will be updated and/or new items released? I would like to start planning for next year but do not want to buy things that are about to be updated and want to pick things like musicians that will have Music Study with the Masters books to go along with them. Thanks for any help on this!
This post, Taking Shape, will give you the big picture of what we are planning behind the scenes. We have decided not to publish release dates because we keep learning that life is unpredictable. For example on a small scale, I had a wonderful writing schedule planned for this week; so far we have welcomed our first grand baby (a wonderful interruption of plans!!) and have two children down with stomach flu (not quite as wonderful) and we’re trying to pack for the Nashville convention coming this weekend.
Things like that — life — happens and over time they add up to delays and postponed release dates. So we’ve thought it best to try to avoid getting hopes up and then have to disappoint.
As far as order of things goes, though, you can see that we will need to produce the individual components before coming out with the corresponding lesson plan books. And when we do the revised history plans, we will go in chronological order — that much I can say. 🙂
