I saw this while I was exploring the SCM site. How do you use it? What do you really like about it? It looks absolutely wonderful because it’s all mine! So many things for homeschooling revolve around the kids, not us. This looks like fun. Tell me about it.
It’s a 2009-2010 calendar. Each month has the following format:
1) month-at-a-glance (2 pages)
2) An encouraging 2-page article with a theme of “A Thinking Love” from Vol I (Sonya also has which pages you can refer to for more info on the topic)
3) One “Journal Notes” page and the next page is divided into thirds with the following headings: a) Gentle Reminders, b) Prayer Requests and c) Books I Am Reading
4) Week-At-A-Glance (2 pages) with a great CM quote from various volumes on each page.
The above format repeats for each month throughout the calendar (August 2009-December 2010). At the back of the calendar, there are four blank “Journal Note” pages.
Thank you for the link. I am really looking forward to it. I printed out a calendar from donnayoung.org, but I wanted something a little nicer, for memories of homeschooling my girls and the journey we went down.
I just had to pop in here and say a big thank you to Sonya for ‘A Thinking Love’ Journal – It is absolutely beautiful! What a blessing to have a place to jot down thoughts, prayers, reminders, appointments, etc…all in one lovely spot! Thank you so much!!!
May the Lord bless you for all your hard work and dedication in your service to Him!
After having received this journal and using it for a week now, I thought I would update you all on my thoughts. I absolutely love it. It is smaller than I thought, which is much more useful to carry around. I am so glad I found this planner/calendar/journal/prayer request, lovely, encouraging all-in-one; and it is for me! It is truly a blessing. I have been showing it to all my friends and recommending it to everyone. I love the fact that there is a monthly calendar and sufficient space on other pages for daily happenings. The gentle reminder and prayer request space is also a great addition.
