    [Disclaimer: After enjoying several individual SCM products, I am considering the full curriculum for the Fall.]

    Many of Ambleside’s book selections I have found to be unnecessarily antiquated; are many of SCM’s book selections the same or similar?

    I agree. SCM finds a good balance of classics and more modern literature.  We have enjoyed the books recommended.

    Agreed, I prefer SCM’s book choices to AO’s.
