    My son’s b-day is coming up and he loves doing projects. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive project kit where he can make a multitude of projects?

    I just saw a very cool construction/motion type kit at Costco for $20.  They also had a Smithsonian Kit made up of 7 different projects – not sure how much that one was.  I’m not sure what ages they were for – too old for my kids (5 and 3 and 1).

    He’ll be 9 in Sept. He’s always been advanced in reading instructions and doing all his own projects. My problem is he never wants to get rid of them!
